Why me: 27 years in data, from sysadmin and ETL through BI and data engineering. Tableau Zen Master (2012), internal data tools and two patents at Facebook, then Tesla and Airbnb. Since 2023 I've built AI into the data stack full-time: semantic SQL, AI operators inside Postgres, and Calliope, an AI colleague that learns how a business works, which I'm piloting now.
